Job Description**

WWT is currently seeking a senior, Lead Security Consultant supporting a wide range of clients in the commercial and federal space. This role is primarily a delivery role involving services for cyber security engagements with Fortune 500 companies. The Lead Security Consultant will be providing a multitude of services to assist clients with improving their overall security by applying a WWT established Enterprise Segmentation methodology.

This is a senior level consultant performing a range of expert level services that includes the creation of an enterprise segmentation framework based on an analysis of a multitude of drivers (i.e. business, regulatory, technical, potential solutions); analyzing current architectures and determining a best solution that addresses framework along with leading practices and best solution based on total cost of ownership; and direct an engagement to include the development of a segmentation plan, the design, and implementation along with the creation of professional level deliverables. This individual will work under the direction of Professional Services and have responsibility to manage a variety of engineering staff. As required the Lead Security Consultant will identify key supporting roles for security, engineering, networking, and others required to successfully deliver an engagement from start to end.

Working in a team environment, the Security Consultant will be representing WWT as the subject matter expert on all areas for Enterprise Segmentation. The Architect will possess specific skill sets of segmentation processes, be technically diversified with security products and solutions related to segmentation, and possess expertise to lead and manage a project comprised of technical and non-technical members. The Architect will have extensive and demonstrated knowledge on risk management methods and approaches to measuring effectiveness, understand and eloquently explain enterprise segmentation, and have practical experience dealing with highly diverse technical environments. This includes a seasoned ability in the development of professional level deliverables and highly effective skills in the presentation and communication of the deliverables in terms of findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

**Travel is required and will be approximately 50-75%.**

**The Lead Security Consultant will:**

+ Be the primary lead in the segmentation delivery engagements for a wide variety of clients in different industry verticals

+ Assess segmentation challenges within an environment, identify key strategic issues and advise on best alternative course of action

+ Possess the ability to work in a client environment and develop a multitude of relationships with

+ Through the application of industry standards and security best practices, develop and recommend plans to structure secure architectures

+ Define and promote segmentation architectures that can meet compliance and regulation requirements while improving the security posture of the organization

+ Apply expert level knowledge for segmentation security and defense-in-depth

+ Understand the security interplay in the areas of application assurance, data classification, network security, and emerging IT trends and threats.

+ Analyze and assess client facing segmentation challenges, identify recommendations for solutions, and define a roadmap to successfully implement such solutions

+ Develop and deliver workshops in the areas of segmentation to include but not limited to security policy, process flows, architecture, and solution definitions.

+ Develop reports and supporting presentations for both client and internal discussions

+ Expertise in security policy standards (i.e. ISO, NIST, HIPAA) and develop segmentation policy and parameters for the creation of a segmentation framework.



+ 10-15 years of cyber security experience with an emphasis on network security and enterprise segmentation. The ideal candidate will have combined experience as a security practitioner, security consultant, and a CISO

+ Understanding of one or more segmentation technology (i.e. Cisco ACI and Tetration, ISE/TRUSTSEC, NGFW (i.e. Palo Alto, Checkpoint), and VMware NSX)

+ Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree on Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance or related field.

+ Required certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC (at least one or comparable skills and experience)

+ Extensive knowledge of current and upcoming security technologies and operations

+ Experience in conducting Risk Analysis and has participated in those assessments

+ Experience in Security operations and policy development

+ Knowledge of the various industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and security

+ Have expertise and working knowledge of industry frameworks, such as COBIT 5, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, and NIST SP 800-30 and Cybersecurity Framework (HIPAA Security Rule and HITECH Act)

+ Extensive ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments and adjusting priorities

+ Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences

+ Extensive experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and leading security initiatives

+ Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels

+ Must be a performance-driven team player with an excellent attitude
