Job Description**

World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) is currently seeking a Security Technical Solutions Architect to work on a collaborative team supporting commercial, US-based companies as well as the public sector. This role involves leading business relevant engagements with Fortune 500 companies and large Federal organizations to assist with business challenges by providing advanced, enterprise-wide security solutions.

The Security Solutions Architect will represent WWT as a security expert with skillsets to support a wide range of business opportunities. As a member of the National Security Practice, he/she is a subject matter expert and works with key account executives throughout the sales or delivery lifecycle by identifying and/or designing security solutions. The architect is responsible for supporting high profile customer engagements and expected to work as an essential member within a team or independently. A demonstrated ability is required in professional communication both orally and in writing on; topics of security challenges and solutions that can mitigate risk, results of extensive security analysis and present to either executive level or technical peers and able to produce high quality reports along with supporting presentations.

As a Security Architect, WWT will offer you the ability to work with state of the art technology and be on the front of leading edge security solutions. As a member of the National Security Practice you will lead or support the following activities:

+ Work with multiple support groups to develop relevant architectures, methodologies and templates for security solutions for our clients as well as within the Advanced Technology Center.

+ Perform security analysis against traditional and advanced threats and recommend solutions.

+ Enable the sales force and account executive by conducting National level information marketing and/or training sessions related to security products and professional services offerings.

+ Deliver customer facing requirements by applying traditional security lifecycle management processes.

+ Lead white boarding sessions and other customer facing presentations

This role is focused on skills, knowledge, and experience primarily around security technology. The architect will be working closely with various OEM security professionals and furthering important strategic and highly successful relationships. The individual will have an advanced level of experience with infrastructure security solutions gained through delivery services, pre- and post-sales engineering support, and/or consulting experience. He/she will be part of a team of go-to professionals within WWT for discussions around infrastructure and data center security offerings and technologies. The architect will participate as a lead technologist for business development. Specific responsibilities include developing and supporting internal or external marketing initiatives, lead or support architectural demonstrations of security products in WWT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC), and maintain a high level of knowledge on our offerings.



+ Expertise with infrastructure and data center networking security solutions and products

+ Demonstrated experience in business development

+ 10+ years of both security support engineering and post-sales experience in network security engineering, operations, analysis, threat management, and risk management

+ Strong expertise in defining end-to-end security processes and implementing for success

+ Experience in client space and diverse in supporting a project and be the task lead

+ Understanding and work experience a plus in security standards and frameworks i.e. PCI, HIPAA, NERC/CIP, ISO, and NIST

+ Excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with internal teams

+ Be a performance-driven team player with an excellent attitude

+ Experience providing technical training is a plus

+ Possess security industry recognized vendor certifications

+ Possess professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other equivalent

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

**Travel is required and will be approximately 50-75%.**
